Life in three acts
Based on what I've seen in general society, humans have 3 'acts'. Adolescence, where you spend you days growing up and eventually become an adult. Adult, where you get a job, get married and have kids. And Retired, when you're done with kids and careers and are supposed to travel, play golf and do all the stuff you never had time for because of work, kids and bills. Well, that's how the prior generation worked supposedly. Today, it's a whole different kettle of fish (as my Mother is fond of saying) for so many reasons. The three-act life can now be however many acts you want and based on our journey, we have arrived at our Fifth Act.
